SELAH JOURNAL

ThisDay is made up of Patterns/Prompts,

listed here in the Start Here Pages,

that we focus on during our day.

These P/P are the core of ThisDay .

ThisDay is about Learning from the Word

and Listening to HolySpirit

as we grow in Messiah Christ

through all the

Stages of Growth with Him.

Our minds forget so easily

so you may benefit from a Journal.

**Create a Journal for daily writing what you Learn and Hear…

where you date and doodle your inspirations each ThisDay…

be artistic and creative!

You can use your annual paper planner if you are not a big writer…

Keep the ThisDay Qtr Calendar in the Planner to know our schedule.

If you are a big writer, get a separate journal to write in…

and check here to see if ThisDay is available in print.

***Journal Time in ThisDay is called SELAH Time…

SELAH is a musical term in Scripture

that is used mostly in the Psalms.

The actual specific meaning is unclear,

but there are indications that it likely meant-PAUSE, or something similar.

I have My own Definition that we will use in this study...

Selah = STOP! And THANK about it!

Stop! And Thank about it? (Yes! I wrote THANK, not THINK)—

This is where we pause to focus with gratitude

on what we have instead of what we don’t have.

GRATITUDE in our ATTITUDE!

We will SELAH at the end of each ThisDay.

**SELAH and Journaling each day

will help you remember the principles and verses

that are significant to you for later use.

The Word of God is our spiritual food that

nourishes us…renewing our mind.

Each quarter has basic Prompts…

that build upon each other through the year...

use the Daily Reading with the Prompts

as you sit in SELAH stillness with Holy Spirit…

be patient… listen… ponder what comes to your spirit.

Use the Patterns/Prompts and the

Daily Reading in the Word to see the blessings of GOD in our life.

Because there is always something to be thankful for…

even if we have to look deep below the surface to find it!

This is about Reflection and Gratitude…

every ThisDay…

not just the Sabbath Day.
